Ever wonder why we focus onto the EMPTINESS...?

Professor Emeritus William A. Tiller of Stanford University talks about the incredible amount of energy we can potentially harness from just a small hydrogen atom... if only we can still our mind.

  1. Unfortunately, the universe is not flat, and his first density statement did not include the volume. Meaning of entire video is thus null.

  2. Thank you for your comment. It made me think real hard. Astronomical data does indicate that the universe is indeed flat.

I prefer to leave out concepts such as the shape and density when delving into the unknown.

We have to break free from thought if we truly want to enter into the mysteries of the universe.

I firmly believe that the answer lie in the state of 'no-mind'. Let us look at the wisdom in first chapter of the Dao De Jing:

The Dao that can be spoken is not the eternal Dao
The name that can be named is not the eternal name
The nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth
The named is the mother of myriad things
Thus, constantly without desire, one observes its essence
Constantly with desire, one observes its manifestations
These two emerge together but differ in name
The Unity is said to be the mystery
Mystery of mysteries, the door to all wonders
